Fishies
(colored fish – need a blue, pink, yellow green and orange fish unless you change the poem. Take off the named fish)
I saw a fish a-swimming Along came another
They did a backstroke and a dive Pink is nice to be
Count with me then 1-2-3-4-5 Green fish, blue fish, pink fish
Then I didn’t see blue fish That makes 3
Swimming any more In came yellow
Count them with me 1-2-3-4. And jumped on shore
Green fish, blue fish, pink fish, yellow fish
Then, little Pinkie That makes 4.
Went behind a tree Orange Roughie
Count them with me 1-2-3. Came in for a dive
Green fish, blue fish, pink fish, yellow fish, orange fish
My little lemon yellow fishie That makes 5.
Cried boo-hoo-hoo
Count them with me 1-2. (Gingerbread Man, Little pig, Goat, Rabbit, Princess)
Then, green fish Nursery Rhymes
Went away for some fun. Run, run as fast as you can. You can’t catch me
Count with me 1 I’m the Gingerbread Man
Orange fish looked around Not by the hair on my chinny, chin chin
“Hey I’m all alone, I’ll go swim in the sun.” Cried the 3 Little Pigs when the wolf wanted in.
Then there was --None Trip-trap, trip-trap, trip-trap went the Three Billy Goats Gruff
(or you can add one fish at a time) Below was the troll…and he was tough
When I went to the ocean
I saw one bright green fish Slow and steady said the turtle to Rabbit’s face
Swimming around with a swish, swish, swish. Slow and steady will win me this race.
Then came a fish Cinderella,Cinderella what will she do
His scales were all blue At 12 o’clock she lost her shoe.
Green fish, blue fish; that makes two (cont. at top)
5 little ants scurrying about/ Till one little ant began to shout
“It’s too cold; I’m out the door,”/ Then there were 4.
4 little ants scurrying about/ Till one little ant began to shout
“It’s time for some tea,”/ Then there were 3.
3 little ants scurrying about/ Till one little ant began to shout
“Oops, I forgot my shoe.”/ Then there were 2.
2 little ants scurrying about/ Till one little ant began to shout
“I think T.V. is much more fun,”/ Then there was 1
1 little ant scurrying about/ Till that ant began to shout
“There’s a hungry crow flying around the sun,”/ Then there was – None!
