I was the editor of the Read-A-Wee sometime between 1965 and 1969. If
I ever come across a copy I'll send it you way! When I went on to
college at SIUE and joined the Alestle staff, I didn't mention that
I'd been editor of my school paper because I was too embarrassed to
say the name! I went on to write for several newspapers including the
Belleville News-Democrat and Suburban Journals, then did
communications for various companies until I started my own PR firm in
1995. I've always used my writing skills, which I honed in Catholic
school. It's great to see the photo of the old school on Facebook!
