Rosemary Koesterer

Rosemary M. Koesterer, 63, of Belleville, Ill., born March 6, 1947, in Belleville, Ill., died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Miss Koesterer worked as a secretary at Edison Brothers Shoe Company, St. Louis, Mo., and later at Southwestern Illinois College, Belleville, Ill.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mary A., nee Pautler, Koesterer; a brother-in-law, Joseph J. Schaefer III; and cousins.

Surviving are two sisters, Lou-Ann C. Schaefer of Swansea, Ill., and Doris M. (Dewey) Rowden of Springfield, Ill.; six nieces and nephews, John P. Schaefer of Swansea, Ill., Robert J. (Lou Ann Branz) Schaefer of Grafton, Ill., Richard J. (Regina) Schaefer of Marine, Ill., Joann M. (Brian) Miller of O'Fallon, Ill., Jason P. (Kristy) Sharpe of LeRoy, Ill., and Heather R. (Robert) Easley of Springfield, Ill.; great-nieces and great-nephews; and cousins.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with Msgr. James Buerster officiating. Burial will be at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
