Letter from Kathleen Schneiderjans Classen
I graduated from the Academy of Notre Dame in 1954 and have many happy memories. The nuns and lay teachers were all devoted and we all left feeling we had a good education.
Some memories go back to about 1953 or 1954 when we had an unexpected snowfall of twelve inches which gave us a 2 day vacation.
. 
Other memories are of the Living Rosary and our Mary Day celebrations.
As I look back at the solid education I received for approximately $100. per year and now look at what a Catholic High School education cost (which is about $7,000.) I feel very blessed.
The class of 1954 will be having its 55th reunion on August 22 and 23, 2009
