Harriet (Gass) Reime - remembers playing bridge on the floor of the front entrance way during lunch hour at the Academy.
Mary Catherine (Harbraugh) Krakowiecki - remembers the Gloom Chasers Club and the "fun things" of boarding school.
Eleanor (Harper) Metcalf - remembers working in the office at Notre Dame for Mother Loretto to pay her tuition and so did not have much time for extra curricular activities. But, she remembers at the times she went to the Chapel and everyone in their white veils looked so impressive. She also remembers the May Day when she wore her first formal.
Mary Lucille (Mathews) Gedo - remembers those horrible cotton stockings they all wore and being fined 10 cents if one chewed gum. She remembers sitting in French class looking at the photo of the apse of the Notre Dame Cathedral in France and wondering if she would ever see it in person: happily she has fulfilled that fantasy. Mary also recalls the "fierce" Sister Patrice.
Emma (Sprague) Simmons - remembers annual plays, the gym uniforms with baggy legs, fun in Miss Urban's class and Sister Patrice who always told her that she had brains in her feet. Emma named her only child after her.
Evelyn Van Gordan - Sr. Clementine Marie, SSND - remembers the school bus rides and pulling the stage curtains for the school play. But most especially she remembers he one line in the play, "Did you say the room was full of fleas!"
Mary Ione (Vatterott) Berry - remembers- the Art Room, the starched collars and cuffs on the uniforms, the beautiful "White" altar in the chapel, the wonderful education drilled into the students by the very strict nuns, the Boarders' Gloom Chaser's Club, May day, eh aroma of Msgr. Fallon's cigar throughout the halls - which she visited the Chapel to pass his room just to smell his cigars, The pancake Dinners and having to sweep the three floors of steps every day.
